I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I studied psychology in France at the university of Paris 10 and Toulouse le Mirail. In Bordeaux, France, I was trained in critical transcultural psychotherapy and began working there as a psychologist at the Saint André Hospital in the transcultural clinic of Dr Claire Mestre. I worked with immigrants mostly, survivors of torture and political oppression. I have also been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy by the APEP (Association Psychanalyse et Psychothérapies) located in Paris. I have completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at the University of Toulouse, where I studied individuals and families resisting political oppression. In Quebec, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the division of social and transcultural psychiatry at McGill University and was offering psychotherapy at Clinique Mauve (a clinic for LGBTQ+ migrants and racialized people).

I am interested in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapies (ethnopsychoanalysis as well as existential, narrative and relational approaches), critical anti-oppressive approach in psychology and psychopathology (institutional psychotherapy and alternative to repressive psychiatry). I do value psychotherapy as a political space that can offer autonomy from state and family violence. I see psychoanalysis as a method to experience and understand different ways of forming relation in a non-normative creative environment. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy can also highlight our conscious and unconscious dependency to structural forms of oppression and provide support for liberation.

I work with youth, adults, survivors and perpetrators of different forms of violence or individuals experiencing sufferings (personal, family, social), trauma as well as relational and mental health challenges.
