
Hi! I’m Olivia and I’m a counsellor offering online and in-person (Vancouver, BC) individual (age 14+) and couples therapy.
Coming from a humanistic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approach, I aim to walk alongside my clients as they build relationships with themselves and others that are more attuned to their needs, values, and self-defined quality of life. My practice is guided by overarching neurodivergent, 2slgbtqia+, and disability affirmative frameworks and our work together will be collaborative. We will work towards change in a way that is tailored to you by reflecting on the narratives you carry in life, through understanding what guides you in navigating challenges, in being with emotions that arise, through building awareness around patterns, and in uncovering personal resources.
Approaches I tend to draw from include acceptance and commitment therapy, existential therapy, emotion-focused therapy, systemic therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic approaches. If of interest and a good fit, I also offer nature-based walk and talk therapy.
I have supported folks experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, burnout, grief and loss, relational challenges, addiction, and trauma or more often than not, some mix of experiences that may not fit distinctly into one category.
